In order to avoid the spreading of COVID-19, all students applying for HSK 3 exam shall attend exam online
College of Overseas Education will organize Chinese language Exam which has the same level of HSK 3 and HSK 4 in this semester.
1 Type of exam
(1) The students in Nanjing shall attend exam in the classroom and answer questions in test paper.
(2) The students outside of Nanjing shall attend exam online.
2 Time of exam
HSK 3 Exam：From 3:00pm to 5:00 pm, on 30th March (Wednesday) at Beijing time, 2021, For 2019 postgraduates
HSK 4 Exam：From 3:00pm to 5:00 pm, on 27th April (Wednesday) at Beijing time, 2021, For 2018 undergraduates
3 Preparation of online exam
The device with camera shall be prepared. You can use mobile phone or computer.
The apps of Wechat and Tencent meeting shall be downloaded in your device in advance.
Internet requirement: 3G/4G/5G or Wifi with good quality internet shall be ensured.
Preparation of examinee: Examinee shall choose a space with bright light and quiet environment. Checking materials and talking with others are prohibited during the exam. The result of exam will be canceled if any cheating behaviors are found during the exam.
4 Procedure of online exam
15 minutes before exam: The office will send the Tencent meeting link to Wechat group. Everyone shall click the link and open his or her video camera, remember to close the button of sound in case there is any noise.
10 minutes before exam: After listening to the requirement of invigilate teachers, the students shall take the video around the testing environment, especially for the materials on the desk and close all the irrelevant interfaces, then make their faces in the middle of video camera. If both computer and mobile phone are available, the students shall use the computer to answer the questions, and put the video of mobile phone shoot the Interface in the computer and student’s head.
The office will send the online exam link through Wechat group at 3:00pm. You have to finish the whole exam within 2 hours, otherwise you can not submit it online after 5:00pm. During the exam, please remain the video recorded and sound closed.
After you finish the exam, you can click “提交” and type “submitted” in Tencent meeting and leave the meeting. The exam will be finished at 5:00pm. The students should be submitted before 5:00pm, otherwise the results will not be recorded.
5 Important reminder
According to NJUPT’s degree map of the international students and the requirement of the Ministry of Education of China, all the international master students and PhD students shall reach the level of HSK 3 before they graduate whereas the international undergraduates shall reach the level of HSK 4.
Honesty is highly appreciated during the exam. Cheating is zero-tolerance during exam.
