1.Time arrangement

In the first half of 2024, there will be five batches of similarity detection and blind examination of master's degree theses. Master's degree graduates of 2021 (including those who have not graduated in the past) can choose the corresponding batches for dissertation defense according to the progress of their theses. The meeting of the Academic Degree Assessment Committee of the University is scheduled to be held around mid-late June and mid-early July to review the degree awarding list. See the attached table for specific schedule.

2. Graduation qualification examination

The Graduate School will conduct the graduation qualification examination for the class of 2021 and the previous graduate students who have not graduated before March 20, and the graduate students who pass the graduation qualification examination can enter the thesis similarity test.

3.paper similarity detection

The Graduate School will conduct the thesis similarity test at 10:00 am on Monday, the 5th, 8th, 11th, 14th and 17th week of the school calendar. The graduate students must submit the electronic version of the thesis before this time node and ask the tutor to complete the online review. For science and engineering master students, the overall text copy ratio of the tested paper < 25% is considered to pass the test; For master students majoring in liberal arts, the overall text copy ratio of the tested paper < 30% is regarded as passing the test, and all master students who fail the thesis similarity test must participate in the university-level blind examination.

4. Paper review

The evaluation of graduate degree theses is divided into two ways: blind review and routine review. The blind review is divided into university-level blind review and university-level blind review. The school-level blind review is organized by the graduate school, and the university-level blind review is organized by the college or the postgraduate supervisor organizes the routine review. All graduate students who fail to pass the thesis similarity test will participate in the university-level blind examination, and the graduate School will announce the university-level blind examination list before March 15. The Graduate School will conduct university-level blind examination on the 5th, 8th, 11th, 14th and 17th week of the school calendar at 10:00 am on Thursday. The graduate students must submit the electronic version of university-level blind examination papers and ask their tutors to complete online review before this time. College level blind review, routine review matters shall be subject to the notice of the college and the tutor.

5. Registration of academic achievements

Research students are required to register all academic achievements in the graduate system of the Smart Campus before applying for defense, which will be reviewed by the supervisor and the college, and the paper materials will be submitted to the college for review. Failure to register academic achievements in the system will affect degree applications.

6. Fill in degree awarding information

Graduate students log in the graduate system to complete the degree awarding information, the relevant information will be used for personal degree awarding information to the Ministry of Education, please be sure to fill in carefully and truthfully.

7. Dissertation defense

The graduate student submits the dissertation defense application in the graduate system, and the formal defense can only be conducted after it is approved by the supervisor and the college. Graduate students who plan to apply for the degree award in June should complete the dissertation defense before May 29, and graduate students who plan to apply for the degree award in July should complete the dissertation defense before June 27.

8.Reviewby the Academic Degree Assessment Sub-Committee

Each degree assessment sub-committee will review the degree application. The first batch of degree assessment sub-committee meetings will be held before June 5, and the second batch of degree assessment Sub-committee meetings will be held before July 1. After the meeting, relevant materials must be submitted to the graduate School in a timely manner.

9. Examination and approval by University Academic Degree Assessment Committee

The University plans to hold a meeting of the University Academic Degree Assessment Committee around mid-late June and mid-early July to approve the degree awarding list.

关于做好2024年上半年硕士研究生学位论文

答辩及学位申请工作的通知

各研究生培养学院：

根据研究生培养进程的安排，学校将于近期组织开展2024年上半年硕士研究生学位论文答辩及学位申请工作，现将具体安排通知如下：

一、时间安排

2024年上半年硕士研究生学位论文相似性检测及盲审论文送审共设五个批次，2021级硕士研究生（含往届未毕业的硕士研究生）可根据论文进展情况选择相应批次进行学位论文答辩。校学位评定委员会会议拟于6月中下旬、7月中上旬左右召开，审议学位授予名单。具体时间安排见附表。

二、毕业资格审查

研究生院将在3月20日之前对2021级及往届未毕业的硕士研究生进行毕业资格审查，毕业资格审查通过的研究生方可进入论文相似性检测环节。

三、论文相似性检测

研究生院于校历中第5、8、11、14、17周周一上午十点进行论文相似性检测，研究生须在此时间节点前提交论文电子版并请导师完成线上审核。对于理工科专业硕士研究生，被检测论文的整体文字复制比＜25%视为通过检测；对于文科专业硕士研究生，被检测论文的整体文字复制比＜30%视为通过检测，论文相似性检测未通过的硕士研究生须全部参加校级盲审。

四、论文评审

研究生学位论文评审分为盲审和常规评审两种方式，盲审分为校级盲审和院级盲审，校级盲审由研究生院组织开展，未进行校级盲审的论文，由学院组织院级盲审或研究生导师组织常规评审，院级盲审比例不低于25%。论文相似性检测未通过的硕士研究生全部参加校级盲审，研究生院将于3月15日前公布校级盲审名单。研究生院于校历中第5、8、11、14、17周周四上午十点进行论文校级盲审处理，研究生须在此时间节点前提交校级盲审论文电子版并请导师完成线上审核。院级盲审、常规评审事宜以学院、导师通知为准。

五、学术成果登记

研究生均须于申请答辩前在智慧校园研究生系统中登记在读期间所取得所有学术成果，由导师和学院进行审核，同时将纸质材料提交学院审核。如未在系统中登记所取得学术成果，将会影响学位申请。

六、学位授予信息填报

研究生登陆研究生系统完成学位授予信息填报，相关信息将用于个人学位授予信息上报教育部，请研究生务必认真、如实填写。

七、学位论文答辩

研究生在研究生系统中提交学位论文答辩申请，经导师、学院审核通过后方可进行正式答辩。拟申请6月授予学位的研究生请于5月29日前完成学位论文答辩，拟申请7月授予学位的研究生请于6月27日前完成学位论文答辩。

八、学位评定分委员会审核

各学位评定分委员会对学位申请进行审核，第一批次学位评定分委员会会议于6月5日前召开，第二批次学位评定分委员会会议于7月1日前召开，会后务必及时将相关材料上报研究生院。

九、校学位评定委员会审批

学校拟于6月中下旬、7月中上旬左右召开校学位评定委员会会议，审批学位授予名单。
