Notice on the Arrangement of Undergraduate Teaching Work for the First Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year

To all teaching units and students:


In accordance with the school's work schedule and the actual situation, the following arrangements for undergraduate teaching work for the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year are hereby notified:


I. Teaching and Examination Arrangements


Teaching Arrangements:


(1) Course Teaching Arrangement: Full-time undergraduate students (including international students) from the 2021-2023 cohorts will commence classes from Monday, September 2, 2024 (Week 1); The enrollment education for freshman of 2024 cohort will start from Monday, September 9, 2024 (Week 2). Other class schedule for freshmen of the 2024 cohort will be announced later.


Elective courses for the whole school will start from Monday, September 9, 2024 (Week 2). Elective courses arranged for online learning will have specific learning times according to the course arrangement notices.


(2) Teaching Progress: Please adhere strictly to the teaching progress schedule (Attachment 1).


(3) Course Selection and Retake Work: The supplementary and change course selection (including retake course registration) for students will be completed within the first two weeks of the semester (September 2 - September 13), with specific times to be announced.


  1. Student Status Management: Students who need to apply for leave of absence, return to school, or self-arranged grade level changes, and other situations involving course selection and attendance, can download forms from the Academic Affairs website. After submitting applications and supporting documents to the college, they should be reviewed by the college and handed over to the Academic Affairs Management Section for timely student status processing (pay attention to the processing time and deadlines) to ensure timely course selection in the system. The leave and return school process for international students will be conducted offline, with details noticed later.




Examination Arrangements:


Making-up examinations will be arranged starting from Monday, September 2, 2024 (Week 1), and will be completed by the end of the second week. Specific examination arrangements can be found on the "Notices" section of the Academic Affairs website.


II. Service Guarantees and Reminders


Classroom Booking: Starting from September 1, 2023, online classroom booking will be available. Teachers who need to use a classroom should apply online. Once approved, teachers should bring their campus cards and the approved classroom booking form to use the classroom. Unauthorized use of classrooms is prohibited and will be dealt with seriously.


Teaching Schedule: All teaching activities will follow the school's teaching schedule, which is uniform across all campuses and remains unchanged throughout the year, regardless of seasonal changes. The specific schedule is as follows:

 2024-2025学年第一学期本科教学工作安排的通知

  

各教学单位:

根据学校工作安排并结合实际情况,现就2024-2025学年第一学期本科教学工作安排通知要求如下:

一、教学和考试安排

1.教学安排:

1课程教学安排:学校2021-2023级全日制本科生(含留学生)自202492日(第1周星期一)起上课2024年留学新生入学教育自202499日(第2周星期一)起上课。2024级新生其他课程上课时间另行通知。

全校任选课自(电子设计与创新基础B自第1周周六起上课),安排在线学习的任选课具体学习时间以相关课程安排通知为准。

2教学进程:请注意并严格按照教学进程表(附件1)进行教学。

3选课、重修相关工作:本学期的学生补改选课(含重修选课报名)按照原定计划在学期前两周内完成(92-913日),具体时间以补改选通知为准。

4学籍管理:本学期休学、复学、自主编级等涉及选课上课等情况的学生可在教务处网站下载表格,将申请和证明材料提交学院后,经学院审核后交教务管理科,以便及时进行学籍处理(注意办理时间和期限),保证按时在系统进行补选课。留学生线下提交纸质的休学复学表,具体事项待之后通知,中国学生休复学跑单采取线上跑单,具体见附件2(延期休学者无需跑单)。

2.考试安排:

202492日(第1周星期一)起开始安排补考,补考工作将在第2周结束,具体考试安排可通过教务处网页的“通知公告”查询。通达学院的考试工作由通达学院负责安排,波特兰学院的外方课程的考试工作由波特兰学院负责安排。

二、服务保障及提醒

1. 202391日起,开放教室网上借用,请需要的教师自行在网上申请,批准后请教师自带校园卡并附上审批通过的教室调用单使用对应教室;教室未经允许不可私自占用,一经发现将严肃处理。

2. 教学活动均按照学校教学活动作息时间执行,且各校区统一、全年执行,不因季节的转换调整或改变。具体安排如下:

3. 各任课教师通过正方教务管理系统用户名和密码进入系统查看课程安排和选课学生名单,请在智慧校园——教务系统,或者教务处主页——综合信息服务——教务管理系统中查看。

4. 学院秘书用户可通过正方系统客户端——选课管理——选课课程调整——必修课课程调整(开课学院)和全校性公选课课程调整,选课状态选择可选、点击查询按钮,即可查看本院(部)开设的课程的上课情况。如需导出上课情况,可将鼠标移至输出的上课情况上,点击鼠标右键,选择显示信息输出即可将上课情况输出。

5. 各校区教室无需额外领取多媒体话筒设备,请每位上课教师自带校园卡,在教室插卡使用多媒体话筒设备。若教师为学院外聘教师,则请开课学院提前统一填写《多媒体教室开机卡借用申请表》(附件3),学院签字盖章后统一交教3-306邵斌老师处(电话:025-85866185)申请办理开机卡。多媒体设备使用过程中如有任何问题,请拨打报修电话,三牌楼校区:18951896951,仙林校区:1895189695218951896953

6. 由于各种原因缺失的上课课时,请任课老师根据教学情况安排补足,并在教学授课计划表中体现。
