Notice of application for retake courses for 2024-2025 bachelors in 1st semester of 2026-2027 academic year

Type of application: ALL 2024-2025 students need apply for retake online through academic system

Application Time: From 1st, Sep to 6th Sep in the 1st semester of 2026-2027 academic year

Step 1: Please fill out application form (attachment 1) and submit it to your advisor (via your class monitor) before 6th September. The courses you want to retake or improve have to be opened in this semester (see attachment 2). Important: All non-graduating students must complete the online application through the academic system this semester. The paper form submitted to your advisor is the first step of this process.

Step 2: Your advisor will review whether you have cleared all tuition and fees. Students with outstanding fees (including tuition and dormitory fees) are not eligible to apply for retake. After the advisor's fee review, the academic office will review your overall qualification. For students who pass the advisor's fee review, the college will organize a training session to guide you through the online course selection process.

Step 3: After the review and approval, academic office will publicize the name list of retake courses in the end of 2nd week, students need pay the retake fees in WeChat mini-program (100 yuan/credit) when get payment notice.

Step 4: If your application is approved, you shall attend the class since 3rd week and the attendance rate will be recorded. If your application is rejected, you shall not join the class. If you still attend class and exam without approval, your final results will be invalid.

Kindly reminder:

  • You need clear all the fees (including academic fees and dormitory fees). If you owe money, you cannot apply to retake courses.

  • You can only apply to retake the courses that are opened in this semester (see attachment 2). Please make sure that the courses codes and courses name must be same. If the course names are same but the codes are different (because the credits are different), you can apply to retake first and noted as different code in application form. Academic office will review whether you can apply to it. If the courses can be successfully retake, please go to academic office to do a course substitution after you pass the course
