Notice on Holding the Campus Selection Competition for the 2026 China Collegiate Computing Design Contest
In order to further strengthen teaching practices at our university, promote mutual exchange, effectively improve the quality of undergraduate education, inspire students' interest and potential in learning computer knowledge, technology, and skills, cultivate innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities as well as teamwork awareness, and enhance the comprehensive practical ability to solve real-world problems using information technology, the university has decided to hold the Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications campus selection competition for the 2026 China CollegiateComputing Design Contest. This competition is organized by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education College of the Undergraduate School and hosted by the School of Educational Science and Technology. The relevant details are as follows:
I. Competition Requirements
1. Participants: All undergraduate students currently enrolled at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Each team may consist of students from different schools/colleges (specific team size requirements can be found in the attached notice for each category). Each team may have up to two instructors.
2. Competition Content: The 2026 campus-level competition entries are divided into the following 11 categories:
(1) Software Application and Development,
(2) Micro-lessons and AI-Assisted Teaching,
(3) Internet of Things (IoT) Applications and IoT Innovation Transformation,
(4) Big Data Applications,
(5) Artificial Intelligence Applications,
(6) AI + Information Visualization Design,
(7) AI + Digital Media Static Design,
(8) AI + Digital Media Animation and Short Films,
(9) AI + Digital Media Games and Interactive Design,
(10) Intelligent Music Creation (AI + Computer Music Creation),
(11) International Students' "Sinology" Studies.
Each category includes several subcategories (detailed classification of competition entries can be found in the attachment). All entries must participate in the campus competition and be recommended by the university for the provincial competition.
If AI tools are used in the competition entries, they must be the AI tools designated by the competition committee (see attachment for details).
II. Competition Schedule
(I) Registration Phase
1. Registration Deadline: From today until March 20, 2026.
2. Registration Method: Join the QQ group and fill out the online registration form.
(II) Entry Submission Phase
Participating teams must send the cloud storage link of their competition entry to the designated email address by April 5, 2026. The email and cloud storage file should be named in the format: "Category + Subcategory + Team Leader’s Student ID and Name."
(III) Campus Competition Review Phase
1. Campus Review Time: Tentatively scheduled for April 8, 2026 (specific time and location will be announced in the official group).
2. The review will be conducted through on-site presentations and Q&A. The presentation and explanation time should not exceed 5 minutes, and the Q&A session will last approximately 5 minutes. During the presentation, participants must explain the entry’s creative concept and design plan, implementation technology, and unique features.
3. After ranking the entries based on their Q&A performance, awards will be determined according to the campus competition award quota proportions (First Prize: 5% of total entries; Second Prize: 10%; Third Prize: 20%). The list of award-winning entries and those recommended for the 2026 China Collegiate Computing Design Contest Jiangsu Provincial Competition will be announced on the website of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education College.
