1.1  Eligible students

All students of Grades 2024–2026 across the university.

1.2  Pre-selection time

Student pre-selection: 09:00, October 17, 2026 (Saturday, Week 7 of school calendar) — 16:00, October 22, 2026 (Thursday, Week 7 of school calendar). The system will close after the deadline.

1.3  Selection method

All students log in the educational administration system through the smart campus portal i.njupt.edu.cn. Google Chrome or Firefox works best for the new-version educational administration system. (Close all opened windows after you finish course selection to prevent unexpected problems!)

Click Course & Textbook Selection → Course Pre-selection to enter the pre-selection system. You will see all available courses. You may click Pre-select or Drop Course based on your needs.

Operations on the new system are simple. Your pre-selection succeeds if you see the Drop Course button in the operation column. Close the page directly once you confirm all your choices. No extra steps are needed.

2. Course Scope

This pre-selection only covers restricted-elective courses listed in next semester’s teaching plans. You must finish online pre-selection for these courses. Please pick courses according to your training plan and personal study schedule. You may select or drop courses freely within the set time window.

3. Important Reminders

3.1  If you run into problems during selection, first check this notice, selection guides and FAQs at: http://jwc.njupt.edu.cn/s/24/t/923/a/39906/info.jspy. If problems remain unsolved, ask teaching administrative staff from your school for help.

3.2  After pre-selection ends, the Undergraduate School will load available courses into the system before the end-of-semester formal course selection. Double-check your pre-selected courses. You can fix wrong or missing selections during formal course selection at semester-end.

3.3  After pre-selection, courses with fewer than 15 pre-selecting students may be cancelled based on the offering school’s feedback. Courses with fewer than 10 students will be cancelled in almost all cases, except for very special circumstances. Check your training plan and make sure you can earn enough restricted-elective credits for graduation. If course cancellation may stop you from graduating, contact your school right away. Your school will talk with the course-offering school and coordinate with the Undergraduate School.

3.4  Read the attachments if you have trouble with system functions and operations. Contact your school for questions about training plans and course offerings. For other unsolvable issues, reach Teacher Lin from the Undergraduate School at 85866257.
